The service at the bar is always good. The experience is good as well, but i would say if you are in a hurry do not stop in to eat. Most of the time the food does take a long time to come out, but that is because it is usually being freshly prepared.

Such a great experience! The drinks from the bar were perfection! All of the food is great and the portions are very generous. We got to meet the owner and he was super friendly and told us how the restaurant has been in his family for generations- I'm always happy to support small buisnesses in times like these! I highly reccommend this place for delicious food, wonderful drinks, and great times.

Boat Works is a nice part of the city of St Clair Shores and is usually considered a neighborhood bar. They have a nice selection of beer on tap at all times (even the harder to find seasonal beers) and the food is pretty great for the price. The Nacho is absolutely gigantic and is enough for a table of 4 to tackle. They have plenty of TVs for the sports fans out there and although the space is limited for moving around, you don’t feel crowded once you’re seated.

Boats 'n' Hoes, I gotta have me more boats 'n' hoes. This place has awesome brews on tap and a nearly 2 foot tall mountain of nachos....I'm being serious. It's amazing!

Been coming here for years before the renovations. Amazing food. Staffs great. Highly recommend!

I have not been into the Works I awhile. I was pretty disappointed, the uncleanness ,the bathrooms floors were very dirty. All the floors were very dirty . Looking into the kitchen one the way in was Very dirty used rags we're piled up in the corner, it was not the clear clean kitchen I thought it would be after being closed up for so long. Not going back very soon.

Pleasantly surprised with this place, we stopped in for a snack and hung around to watch a game. Enjoyed the nachos and burgers

Our bartender was amazing great local bar prices are fair great burger went here for my birthday just to chill eat and drink the bartender definitely makes me want to come back because of the great service

Ordered Nachos and realized that smaller portions are now being served, which was disappointing. On the other hand, service was great! ☺

Good food and beer selection. For a bar toe restaurant, a relatively large food selection. The process are a bit high for the type of food, but was very good.

Was a good place to eat until the insane price increase. My last carryout consisted of 2 mediocre sandwiches and soggy fries for $26... very disappointing 😭

I'm pretty lucky that this is my neighborhood bar! Great beer selection, great food, great people! Expect a crowd during games of all kinds and expect a bit of a wait for your food. Their kitchen is small but they put out great stuff! It will be worth it! Cheers!

Love this place. Good food, good beer. Plenty of TV's so you never have a bad seat when a game is on. For all those reviews about bad service, it's wrong. This place is always busy, especially at dinner time, the service here is busy. I only wish the place was bigger to where I could get a seat at dinner.

The only reason i gave two stars and not three or four is. We would regularly visit this establishment and the last two times we visited the same server was rude and disrespectful.

Try their giant nachos. Nice place to come for lunch or dinner.

Real good time with good friends

Waitress was great to start but had a meltdown with 7 tables. She ignored us after a wrong order and never refilled drinks. The only saving grace is the bartender picked up the slack afterwards and was able to handle the bills. Wouldn't recommend if that waitress continues to work there.

Fantastic place with good food and awesome ambiance. The feel is very dive bar and drinks were priced well as well. Fantastic service.
